Qualifications:
- A valid California State Teaching Credential (Single Subject – Spanish), or equivalent and transferable teaching license from another state, is preferred but not required
- Full eligibility for a California Teaching Permit is required: You hold a bachelor’s degree (with a conferred date); you meet the Basic Skills Requirement (CBEST, CSETs, other); you meet minimum subject matter competency through college coursework in Spanish, or through testing (CSET Spanish Subtest III)
- You have teaching experience in San Jose or a community with similar demographics
- You are a mission-driven individual who has experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with disabilities
- Your ability to speak in Spanish is required
