Job Description Summary:

See’s Candies is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to effectively support the email and promotions team under the supervision of a Marketing Manager. As the Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to real marketing strategies and campaigns, conduct research, produce customer-facing content, develop marketing collateral, and gain an excellent baseline of knowledge in the following Marketing channels: Email, SMS, and Retail/Mall Marketing

You will work in the South San Francisco office four days a week (Monday-Thursday) and virtually on Fridays. Start and end date are flexible based on university schedule.

Our ideal internship candidates are self-motivated, ambitious, and detail oriented.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $27- $30 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Description:

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

Email & SMS

Contribute to email and SMS strategy, campaign ideas, and evergreen content
Write email briefs and present to email agency on weekly calls
Review email creative/copy for accuracy, brand consistency, and product inventory
Set-up and deploy SMS campaigns, and report results
Assist in updating marketing calendar with email content and results
Conduct market research on competitor email strategy
Gain foundational knowledge of Google Analytics and assist in weekly reporting
Retail/Mall Marketing

Work with mall marketing partners on local opportunities for our retail shops
Manage and audit our internal tool- Master Mall Marketing tracker
Update Marketing Flow Calendar with Mall Marketing mentions and inclusion
Performs special and ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

 

Protects and manages the See’s Brand at all times.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
Familiar with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred:

Past internships in Marketing
Portfolio of past projects/campaigns worked on
