Job Function:

To provide cleaning services of an assigned area within the frequency and time frame allotted.  Follow cleaning procedures and company policies.  Cleaning to include but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, etc.

Janitorial Duties:

Cleaning to include but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, etc
Perform additional maintenance duties upon request
Service areas depend on work assignment and may include office space, restrooms, kitchens, schools, medical space, warehouse, elevators, etc
Maintain all equipment and supply to perform duties
Maintain uniform and present a clean appearance
Maintain excellent knowledge of work hazards and safety procedures
Communication with supervisor

Requirements:

Reliable attendance and punctuality
Transportation to and from work
Valid California Driver’s License if job includes travel
Physically able to perform light duty labor and lift up to 60 pounds and push up to 100 pounds
Physically able to walk, stand, lift, reach, bend, kneel, climb, twist, pull, squat, and use arm-hand
coordination on a consistent basis

Skills & Qualifications:

Flexible and willing to work attitude
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
General knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in facility maintenance
Mobile phone and access to email or text is preferred
Reading, writing and verbal skills sufficient to perform duties
Prior experience preferred
