Data center technican 3 (Night Shift), DCO

DESCRIPTION

The Data Center Operations (DCO) team is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting the IT hardware used in Amazon’s data centers.

Key job responsibilities
Server Repair – Troubleshooting hardware failures, identifying root causes, and repairing or replacing failing components

High Impact Event Response – Responding to network failures (e.g., link outages, rackdowns), and high-priority hardware repairs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting
