Responsibilities
- Rough and finish carpentry
- Framing, blocking, and sheathing
- Installation of doors, windows, trim, siding, and decking
- Reading and following construction plans
- Measuring, layout, and material installation
- Safely operating hand and power tools
- Jobsite cleanup and organization
- Working with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members
Qualifications
Journeyman: Several years of residential carpentry experience, ability to read plans, work independently, and perform quality work with minimal supervision.
Apprentice: Previous construction experience is a plus but not required. Must be willing to learn, take direction, and develop carpentry skills.
