The role of the porter is to maintain the exterior and interior physical condition of the community according to operating and safety standards. This role is a blend of maintenance work and custodial work.
You will…
-Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the appearance of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
-Clean and sanitize high-traffic areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces.
-Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaping.
-Ensure trash and recycling areas are regularly emptied and kept tidy.
-Conduct routine inspections to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
-Address minor maintenance issues such as light bulb replacement, paint touch-ups, and furniture assembly.
-Assist residents with moving in and out of apartments, including loading/unloading belongings.
-Provide friendly and responsive customer service, addressing residents’ needs and concerns in a courteous manner.
-Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive resident experience.
-Maintain outdoor landscaping, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and planting flowers.
-Keep outdoor areas clear of debris and litter.
-Completing work orders.
