Job Description

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will follow procedures, instructions, and sequence of operations to unpack, prepare, and assemble components and units. You will be responsible for moving materials between production, warehouse, and other areas, as well as unpacking and packaging production materials.

Responsibilities

Perform product assembly operations on complex components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies, which may involve integration of computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.
Utilize small hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, small components, and labels on products.
Install rails to elevation based on rack specifications and identify and scan labels for rack specification.
Identify and label cables for rack specification using a cable labeling machine; cable racks and server components.
Conduct various product and quality process inspections, document inspection results, and input data into a quality database.
Conduct daily audits of assigned areas and verify tools for proper torque and calibrations.
Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
Complete any additional assigned tasks.
Essential Skills

Experience in production, assembly, cable, electronic assembly, and inspection.
Ability to move and lift up to 50lbs.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Skill in wiring and labeling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to regularly lift, push, and move up to 50lbs.
Capability to stand for prolonged periods and work on ladders.
Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Advanced understanding and familiarity with manufacturing documentation.
