- Job Title: Maintenance Specialist II
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Two years of experience in any combination of the following: mechanical, electrical, structures maintenance, equipment operation, and construction work
- Possession of a valid California driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Class A driver’s license with endorsement for air brakes within 12 months of appointment (EBMUD pays for training). Incumbents are subject to federally mandated random drug testing as a condition of maintaining employment
- Possession of or ability to obtain, within 12 months of appointment, a T2 Water Treatment Operator Certificate and/or a Wastewater Operator-in-Training Certificate, issued by the State Water Resources Control Board (Bixler only)
- Possession of or ability to obtain, within 12 months of appointment, a State of California Qualified Applicators Certificate (QAC), with Rights-of-Way endorsement from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR)

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills; ability to comprehend written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and repeatedly
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent green card holder
