Essential Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and other mobility needs while maintaining resident safety.
- Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed nursing staff.
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests in a timely, respectful manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Promote residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident care.
Qualifications
- Required: Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care is preferred.
- New CNAs are welcome to apply!
