Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of medical assisting experience.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record systems, preferably Next Gen.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient care mindset.
- Bilingual Cantonese is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist providers.
- Greeting and rooming patients; obtain vital signs and document.
- Perform routine clinical tasks under supervision, including CLIA waived testing.
- Document in the patient’s EMR and manage referrals/communications.
- Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
- Triaging messages and coordinating with medical staff.
- Support clinic upkeep and inventory management.
