We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join the San Francisco School District. In this full-time contract role, you will support students with diverse learning needs by developing and implementing individualized educational programs (IEPs), fostering an inclusive classroom environment, and collaborating with students, families, and school staff.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
Provide specialized instruction and academic support
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Passion for helping students reach their full potential
