Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Maintenance Estimator to join our team. In this vital role, you will evaluate maintenance and repair projects, develop accurate cost estimates, and support our commitment to delivering exceptional facility services. Your expertise will help us plan effectively, control costs, and ensure projects meet client expectations while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for facilities maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects using industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope of work accurately.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and scope adjustments.
  • Analyze construction site conditions and incorporate construction management best practices into estimates.
  • Monitor project costs throughout execution to support cost control initiatives.
  • Assist in developing bid proposals that align with client budgets and project requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation for transparency and future reference.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on facilities maintenance or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and contract terms effectively.
  • Familiarity with cost control strategies to optimize project budgets without compromising quality.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site conditions accurately.
  • Construction management or related certifications are a plus; relevant construction site experience is essential.
