On Thursday, January 24, 2013,
JobTrain staff: David Dias, Green Jobs Career Development Specialist & Life Skills Coordinator and  Kail Lubarsky, Director of Marketing & Public Relations; were joined by Timothy Russell,
Program Manager of Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, and interviewed by Emmy award-winning Henrietta Burroughs, for the local cable program Talking with Henrietta.

The interview focused on the importance of setting personal and professional goals. A wide range of topics pertaining to finances, health, relationships, and other pertinent issues geared towards helping individuals learn how to establish a plan for living a purposeful life in 2013, were covered in depth.  
When discussing financial intelligence and making wise purchases, a terrific idea was shared by Timothy as relayed to him by Chandra Jones. It’s known as the “3-3-3- Rule.” It stipulates that: 

If an item costs $30.00 wait 30 minutes 
If an items costs $300.00, wait 3 hours
If an items costs $3,000.00, wait 3 days before making the purchase
