Renowned for his meticulous preparation and legendary work ethic, Rice's influence transcended the gridiron. He has graced television screens as a guest on numerous shows and lent his expertise as an analyst for ESPN, NBC, and 95.7 The Game FM radio. An accomplished author, Rice co-authored two New York Times Best Sellers, "Super Bowl 50: 50 Years 50 Moments'' and "America’s Game: The NFL at 100." His success off the field and renowned work ethic has appealed Rice to numerous corporations, including NIKE, Fanatics, Mitchell & Ness, Rice A Roni and Nationwide.

Hailing from Crawford, Mississippi, Rice's football journey began later than most, starting in high school. Despite limited college recruitment, he found his stride at Mississippi Valley State University, earning a spot in the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006. In the NFL, he played fifteen seasons with the 49ers, three seasons with the Oakland Raiders, and one season with the Seattle Seahawks before retiring in 2005. Rice was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in January 2010, his first year of eligibility. In 2020, Rice and his family launched G.O.A.T. Fuel ® (“greatest of all time”). It is a premium sports energy beverage and lifestyle brand focused on bringing health-forward, innovative products and a G.O.A.T. mindset to consumers.
