Salesforce Administration Training Program

Program Overview: Intended for students with good communication skills and experience working in an office, customer service, or sales environment. This course teaches students how to be a Salesforce Administrator – a job that is growing at a 34% rate! Through guided lessons, hands-on projects, and self-paced online programs, students will emerge from the 15-week course with the opportunity to take the ADM201 certification exam.

Length: 15 weeks

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m

What you get from this program

Students will gain deep experience with the Salesforce software and understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software. Topics will be presented in guided lessons with hand-on exercises, individual and team projects, as well as self-paced online learning programs. Through in-class projects, each student will build an online portfolio to share with prospective employers. Life Skills and Job Readiness workshops are included in training. Guest speakers and field trips will provide additional guidance in career development and job search strategies.

Entry Requirements

Ideal candidates for this program will have prior experience working in an office or business environment, and have good written and oral communication skills.


Prior to Program Start

Candidates must attend JobTrain’s information orientation, including an assessment in mathematics and basic computer skills. Candidates must submit a resume and short writing sample (100 words), complete a Salesforce mini-test assignment, and have an interview with the program instructor.


Education requirements 

Must have GED or high school diploma.


About the Instructor – Peter Farrell

Salesforce Administration Instructor Peter Farrell is a teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience. He brings to JobTrain the commitment to project-based learning he developed as a math and computer science teacher. Always learning, Peter earned his Salesforce Administrator Certification in 2017.
