Teacher and Assistant Teacher

ChildCare Careers is now hiring  Assistant Teachers, and Experienced Teachers to work in our partnered schools throughout Bay Area. You select your hours of availability and preferred travel areas, then we match you to our partnered locations! This position gives you the opportunity to go on job assignments as a substitute teacher or assistant in a childcare facility, after school program, preschool, and/or infant care center. You will assist in day-to-day routine activities, interact with children, and help schools maintain their educational level of excellence.

Pay starts at $20.00/hour and increases based on qualifications and experience.

General Qualifications:

 Experience (paid or volunteer) in a child care setting.

 CPR/First Aid (before start date)

 Bilingual a plus, but not required

 Must undergo background check, fingerprinting, and health screening prior to start date.

Specific Position Qualifications:

 Assistant Teacher: 6-11 Child Development units completed

 Teacher: 12+ Child Development units (core courses) completed AND 150 hours of experience OR Associate Teacher Permit

 Teacher with Degree: AA/AS or BA/BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
