Cashier/Food Runner

Back A Yard Caribbean Grill in Menlo Park, CA is looking for a CASHIER to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities  

• Ensure That Guest are welcomed and get a great experience in visiting our locations – all guest are welcomed and treated respectfully.
• Ensure That Restaurant is Fully Set Up for Business – side work sheet is posted & stations are fully stocked with proper supplies.
• Effective Communication with Team -Ensure all food coming out of kitchen is to sanitation and company standards
• POS & Cash Handling – make sure All discounts, comps and voids be done according to company policy

Qualifications

• Great attitude with a super smile and good vibes, so guest wants to know your name and co- workers look forward to you being on their shift.
• Be able to set the pace and create order consistently
• Provide direction and have the ability to make quick decisions and deal with customer objections.
• Prior cashier experience and working in a busy restaurant setting
