Proudly presented by:
Once again, JobTrain's Annual Golf Classic on July 25, 2011 drew a stellar group of sponsors and participants, and we thank them all! This fantastic event was held at the beautiful Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club in Menlo Park. All proceeds from this fundraiser went directly to JobTrain programs and services, which benefit more than 5,000 individuals each year.

"I wasn't sure if I was ever going to make it in life -- until I discovered JobTrain. Now I have a life where I can give back to society and be a productive citizen. Thank you JobTrain for giving me hope." - Christopher Garza, 2009 Project Build Graduate

THE BENEFIT OF YOUR SPONSORSHIP: All proceeds (100%) generated from the Golf Glitz & Glamour fundraiser benefit JobTrain programs and services. Sponsorship dollars are applied toward assisting the 6,000+ individuals that annually turn to JobTrain to improve their lives.
Throughout its history spanning more than four and a half decades, JobTrain has helped 156,000 clients receive quality career training and job placement services all at NO COST.
Your tax deductible contribution funds vital programs such as Solar Photovoltaic, Medical Office Assistant, Computer Service Technician, Culinary Arts, Professional Health Care Worker Training courses; as well as target at-risk youth through SASSY (Students After School for Successful Youth), JobTrain’s comprehensive program that rehabilitates troubled adolescents.
The Golf Classic Committee met its goal of raising $300,000 for JobTrain. This year’s event was of critical importance. The organization, like many non-profits, has experienced drastic cuts or elimination of county and federal grants resultant of the economic crisis. Your sponsorship helped ensure that critically needed vocational training programs will continue – in turn helping individuals acquire marketable skills. JobTrain works because it puts individuals back to work. Thank you!!
